Their stage performances are a proverbial exclamation point, one that pogos from one act to the next. An incendiary noise romp that growls at and then humours its audience. -i-D

CG8 (aka Cumgirl8)—the self-described “sex-positive” band and creative entity dreamed up by Lida Fox, Chase Noelle, and Veronika Vilim—added fashion to their résumé last year with a clubby, nightlife-inspired collection. This season they brought their work into the sun and onto the street when they presented their sophomore collection outside Café Forgot on the Lower East Side on September 11. It was a real New York moment that created a bridge between Y2K and today. -Vogue
Catch them live; their shows are one of the most immersive and engaging post-punk experiences to be had in this current generation of bands. -Creem
NYC quartet cumgirl8 placed themselves at odds with the powers that be the second they gave their group its salacious name. It gets them booted from social media platforms and largely precluded from the pages of music’s major broadsheets, but their story doesn’t end with shock value. They may be provocateurs, but they also make a fiery brand of post-punk that would sound just as good under a tamer moniker. -Fader
Listening to NYC quartet cumgirl8 feels like going back in time and catapulting to the year 2040 all at once. It’s a heady, latex-clad future-nostalgia that’s part dial-up chatroom, part pioneering punk, and three parts sex-positive dreamgirl from outer-space. -Hero
cumgirl8 is a rising punk band from NYC known for their raucous live shows.
Blast the bombastic quartet's spazzy spacey (and very solid) self-titled debut album below.
And then go see them play. That's the key. The key to everything. -OMR

"Something is very unusual about the band name cumgirl8. It’s not that its sexually “provocative” because you know what, who gives a fuck anymore? I’m thankful that we are living in a time where most thinking individuals agree that there is a difference between something being inherently sexual, and something being “meant to provoke” a response.
It’s sexy, but sexy in the way that women experience something as sexy. It looks like they are all having fun, and I want to join in on their fun. The cumgirl8 aesthetic is beautiful, and very natural because there is nothing pristine about it. They are full-throttle punk rock. -Alt-Citizen
